About Crafty Honeybee

Melissa Roos
Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
Hi! My name is Melissa. My name comes from the Greek word mélissa, which means “bee.” The word mélissa was derived from the Greek word meli, which means honey. In other words, the name Melissa means “honeybee.”
I have always been a crafty person. For years, I taught craft classes on a variety of subjects (including knitting, cake decorating, and paper crafting) at JoAnn’s Fabrics in Las Vegas, NV.
When deciding what to call my website, Crafty Honeybee seemed like the perfect choice.
My true passion is paper crafting and the feeling of accomplishment it brings—along with the joy of sharing handmade projects.
Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is very rewarding because not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach—offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.
Whether you’ve been paper crafting for a long time or are brand new, my years of teaching experience will help guide you to create the perfect project. Creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
I live in the Inspirada neighborhood of Henderson, NV and love sharing my love of card making and paper crafting with my friends and neighbors.
